About the Role

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various procedures. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for surgical and medical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments to determine patient needs
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond accordingly during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient safety
- Manage post-anesthesia care and communicate with patients
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of anesthesia records
- Stay current with best practices in anesthesiology
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing; CRNA certification is required
- Valid state license to practice nursing in anesthesiology
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Exceptional communication skills with patients and medical staff
- Maintaining current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in diverse clinical settings is preferred
- Flexible Schedule: 10, 12, and 13-hour shifts available Monday-Friday
- No call or weekend shifts required
- Trauma and OB experience required
- Spinals (no blocks or epidurals)
- No OB, hearts, or liver transplants
- Supervision: 1:2 or 1:3
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
