About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to partner with leadership teams of dynamic public and private companies with revenues of $50 million to $2 billion in annual revenue. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver sophisticated financial solutions, deepen long-term client relationships, and help drive sustainable growth for some of the region’s most complex and influential middle market organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Providing advice and valuable financial solutions to complex Global Commercial Banking clients and prospects.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact or trusted advisor.
  • Acquiring, deepening, and maintaining profitable relationships.
  • Collaborating with teammates.
  • Facilitating client relationships with Product Specialists.
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities and increasing overall client satisfaction.
  • Managing an extensive portfolio of middle market clients with revenues greater than $50 million.
  • Acquiring, deepening, and maintaining profitable client relationships through sales, prospecting, and enhancing existing relationships.
  • Understanding and interpreting financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
  • Collaborating with domestic and international teammates, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management.
  • Facilitating client relationships with Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services to design and deliver financial solutions.
  • Leading and facilitating dialogue with complex clients and prospects regarding industry, alternative capital structures, and general business issues.
  • Coaching and mentoring peers.
  • Adapting to changes in sales practices and market/industry conditions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in broad based commercial lending/corporate finance/relationship management experience.
  • Existing knowledge of the market.
  • Demonstrates ability to successfully manage an extensive portfolio of clients.
  • Proven track record of prospecting new business, enhancing existing relationships and closing profitable transactions.
  • Professional proven sales skills and experience, including planning, execution and follow up of client meetings.
  • Strong corporate finance, capital markets and accounting acumen.
  • Financial modeling experience.
  • Completion of a formal credit training.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Capable of organizing, facilitating, leading and negotiating with a team of bank associates to solve client problems.
  • Must obtain SIE, Series 7 & 63 license within 180 days of start date.

  • $140,000.00 - $235,000.00 annualized salary
  • Discretionary incentive eligible
