About the Role
As a Third-Party Debt Collector, you will work directly with consumers to resolve past-due accounts by negotiating payment arrangements and identifying solutions that help customers achieve their financial goals. Our collectors maintain the highest level of professionalism while following all federal, state, client, and company compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound collection calls.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve past-due accounts.
- Review account information and educate consumers on available payment options.
- Maintain accurate account documentation and collection notes.
- Meet daily call volume and performance goals.
- Comply with all FDCPA, state, client, and company regulations on every interaction.
Requirements
- Collections, customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Professional phone presence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
