About the Role

Capital Dynamics' Product Development & Strategy (PDS) team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to represent its growing Clean Energy investment business. This senior, highly visible role focuses on influence and driving strategic initiatives, including the firm's ESG program. The role requires deep knowledge of clean energy infrastructure markets and strong investor relationships to cultivate new investors, deepen existing relationships, analyze the LP market, and drive product innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, launch, and coordination of marketing strategies for clean energy investment products.
  • Take full responsibility for compiling fund offering documents and due diligence materials.
  • Drive product innovation for the Clean Energy business with original, commercially astute thinking.
  • Oversee the completion of RFPs, surveys, and due diligence questionnaires.
  • Cultivate prospective investors and deepen relationships with the established client base.
  • Analyze the LP market to identify potential clean energy infrastructure investors and shape engagement strategies.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the sales team, prioritizing requests and serving as the interface between sales and investment management.
  • Manage the creation of client communications, reports, and investment summaries.
  • Lead the integration of ESG initiatives into all Clean Energy products.
  • Oversee the production of the annual Clean Energy sustainability report and other bespoke reporting.
  • Coordinate regular updates to all client-facing materials.
  • Conduct and update competitor analysis.
  • Create bespoke materials for roadshows, events, and conferences.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years in a similar Private Equity Infrastructure, Renewable Energy or Clean Energy investments product development and/or investor relations leadership role, ideally at a buy-side firm.
  • Excellent technical financial knowledge and analytical ability, including financial ratios such as IRR, NPV and dividend yield.
  • Proven, process-oriented project management ability.
  • A deep track record of writing top-quality, high-impact professional presentations, using original ideas where necessary.
  • Mature, creative, solutions-oriented thinking with a genuine "driver" personality and the gravitas to represent the business externally.
  • Ability to write and edit content with a very high degree of precision, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating with minimal supervision or structure — a self-starter capable of running high-impact initiatives without a large team.
  • Willingness to work in a performance-driven, high-pressure environment.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English with superior writing skills.
  • Keen interest in Responsible Investment and targets such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, or a genuine willingness to learn.
  • Additional language skills desirable but not essential, preferably Italian, Spanish, German, French, Korean or Japanese.
