About the Role
As a PLT Technician (all genders) in a full continuous 5-shift system, you will ensure that our process control technology, instrumentation, and automation systems operate safely and reliably during ongoing production. You will make a decisive contribution to stable plant operation, as well as quality and safety standards. If you love technology and solve problems systematically, we look forward to your application.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability, safety, and functionality of process control technology, instrumentation, and automation systems during ongoing production.
- Independently analyze and resolve faults in PLC, DCS, and field devices.
- Reliably perform maintenance, inspection, calibration, and repair work on PLT equipment.
- Document faults, maintenance, and technical measures in relevant systems, such as SAP.
- Support the commissioning of new plants and technical optimization projects.
- Evaluate process, alarm, and historical data to ensure stable plant operation.
- Collaborate closely with production, operations, engineering, and external service providers.
- Participate in ensuring compliance with GMP, HSE, VDE, and other quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Completed technical training, e.g., as an Electronics Technician for Automation, Industrial, or Process Control Technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, initial professional experience in process control technology, automation, or industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLC, DCS, or instrumentation systems and proficiency in fault analysis of technical systems.
- Good understanding of electrical, measurement, and control engineering principles.
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach.
- High sense of responsibility and a strong understanding of safety and quality.
- Enjoy teamwork and value collaboration with different departments.
- Good German language skills (written and spoken); English skills are an advantage.
