About the Role

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is seeking a Large Casting Processor to perform a wide variety of duties in the large casting molding and finishing areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the molder
• Repair ladles
• Load and unload flasks, bottom boards, and upsets to molding lines
• Pour molds
• Shake out molds
• Operate automated shake-out machine
• Operate core knockout
• Grind large castings
• Operate shot-blast equipment
• Transport materials/metal with either gas operated fork truck or hand truck
• Operate power sweeper
• Use hand tools, air grinders, air chisels, band saws, etc. to remove fins, parting lines, sprues, risers, gates, surface roughness and all irregularities from castings
• Place wheels or abrasive belts on machines and make simple adjustments
• Patch surface imperfections within Q.C. standards
• Refer unusual or questionable situations to proper supervision

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered
