Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • If a candidate does not currently have their Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the accepted programs listed above, certification will be included as part of the orientation program.

Experience Level

  • 1-2 years experience working in a health care setting as a HUC, NA or NST or equivalent experience.

  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree
  • Successful completion of a health unit coordinator program
