About the Role
As a Medical Science Liaison, you will provide appropriate information about Gilead's products, including knowledge and data on target diseases, to healthcare facilities and customers in your assigned territory. You will achieve activity goals and key KPIs, such as physician visit frequency and coverage, by promoting omnichannel activities. You will also build and develop strong relationships with key facilities and physicians, and achieve annual budget targets.
Responsibilities

- Identify business opportunities by accurately grasping therapeutic challenges in the assigned territory based on the business unit's plan.
- Develop an area plan for the assigned territory.
- Proactively communicate with supervisors, marketing departments, and other relevant departments.
- Engage in activities that promote the appropriate use of assigned products, including event planning and support.
- Perform administrative tasks such as reporting and promptly handle safety-related tasks, including adverse events and quality abnormalities.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations and laws required by government agencies.
Requirements
- Ability to independently set priorities within the assigned territory based on the business unit's policy, plan necessary activities and identify healthcare professionals to meet, and execute the action plan.
- Must possess the ability to independently conduct recruitment and information provision activities at university hospitals and core hospitals without direct supervision from a manager.
- Ability to effectively implement initiatives that promote the appropriate use of assigned products by conveying product-related messages and understanding the needs of physicians and healthcare professionals through active listening.
- Consistently maintain a patient-centric approach and foster good communication with internal and external stakeholders to obtain information that may lead to risks, not just sales performance improvement.
- Demonstrate strong willpower to overcome difficult situations and execute goals swiftly, while consistently reporting, communicating, and consulting with stakeholders, always keeping teamwork in mind.
- Possess advanced mindset and skills to drive omnichannel activities, including digital approaches, with a proactive desire to lead change and flexibility, enabling timely and effective information provision.
- Quickly acquire and continuously update knowledge to understand customer communications (products, diseases, healthcare systems, etc.) and propose solutions.

Experience Level
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales or commercial experience
- Experience in oncology (especially breast and lung cancer) is desirable
- Proven track record of excellent sales performance (e.g., awards)
Education Level
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in life sciences or business)
- MR certification required
