About the Role

SEO London Law is seeking a Programme Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of all student-related events. This role involves understanding SEO-London law programmes, the legal industry, and liaising with students and client/partner firms to organize and market successful events. The coordinator will also use data to report on programme impact and make recommendations for improving the student experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall administration of all student events, ensuring exceptional student communication.
  • Manage events, student and partner communication, and coordinate stakeholders.
  • Post roles on opportunities pages, promote events, and manage the law commercial awareness newsletter content.
  • Responsible for the relationship management of students, understanding needs, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.
  • Manage student query escalations and identify opportunities for improvement in communication, marketing, or events.
  • Manage the programme inbox.
  • Identify creative and innovative ways to connect, educate, and train students.
  • Provide oversight of CV support, screening, and recruitment preparation.
  • Attend campus events and represent SEO-London professionally.
  • Organize mentoring and buddying allocations.
  • Ensure all event and student data is managed within GDPR guidelines and updated in Salesforce.
  • Run reports from the CRM to track and monitor events.

Requirements

  • A Law degree (LLB) or a combined degree such as Law with [another subject].
  • 1–2 years of experience in relevant areas.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver engaging online sessions.
  • Excellent business writing and organizational skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • A keen interest in, and some knowledge of, an aspiring solicitor’s early career journey (school and university stages).
  • A collaborative team player with a “can-do” attitude, able to handle requests at short notice and work under pressure.
  • Ability to use Teams and Zoom, including creating and managing breakout rooms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Project management experience (preferred).
  • Experience with database management and data analysis, including applicant tracking systems (such as Salesforce) (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Canva and digital communication platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp (preferred).
  • Understanding of employability skills required for students to be job-market ready (helpful).
  • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion principles (helpful).
  • Empathetic approach to working with others (helpful).
  • Experience in recruitment or a target-driven sales environment (helpful).
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Cannot provide sponsorship or consider overseas applications.
