About the Role
As a Deployment Strategist, you will be broadly responsible for successfully deploying our AI technology in customer sites, in collaboration with forward deployed engineers and others. You will understand customer problems, propose solutions, implement them by iterating with customers in production, and identify new markets.
Responsibilities
- Understand the problems of potential new customers during discovery calls and site visits.
- Build a deep understanding of customer industrial processes and most important problems.
- Work closely with forward deployed engineers to propose solutions.
- Create and present demos, data analysis, and business case calculations.
- Work closely with forward deployed engineers to successfully implement the solution by rapidly iterating with customers in production.
- Work closely with the customer’s engineers, IT teams, and management.
- Train users, do demos, observe usage, gather feedback, present results, and design improvements.
- Identify and enter new markets, industries, or potential customers for our technology.
- Map the customer’s data sources and data pipelines, the flow of value and physical quantities through their process, and the decisions made to operate the business.
Requirements
- Some programming experience; understanding of programming and data.
- At least a bachelors degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in physics, engineering, maths, or a similar field.
- Interest and taste in product design.
- Demonstrated exceptional ability in work, school, side projects, or elsewhere.
- Exceptional ability, such as playing a key role in an early stage startup, winning competitions, or having an impressive side project.
- Excellent communication skills, in speech and writing.
- Conscientiousness; a desire to do good work regardless of oversight.
- Excited to work in the metals industries, travel, spend time in factories, and work with a wide range of people.
- Comfortable working in uncertain and dynamic environments.
