About the Role

Responsible for the back door operation at store level, including vendor and warehouse deliveries. Maintains a neat and clean back room area and stocks shelves to promote sales. Ensures adherence to all policies regarding back door receiving.

Responsibilities

• Receiving all grocery and general merchandise product delivery through the Back Door operation.
• Ensuring all standards and procedures regarding billing/invoicing are adhered to.
• Maintaining DEX equipment.
• Maintaining a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Consistently working to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service.
• Processing and scanning damages according to CGO markdown procedures.
• Printing all CGO orders when they arrive at the store.
• Providing Trade Partners with Dolphins to cycle counts when necessary.
• Assisting Trade Partners and Grocery Department Managers in achieving Trade Partner service levels.
• Maintaining corporate and state sanitary and safety conditions in the Back Room, storage and outside areas.
• Ensuring all damages and reclaims are worked daily and weekly to corporate guidelines.
• Stocking empty shelves and promotional displays when not overseeing the Back Door operation.
• Controlling shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Smiling, making eye contact, greeting, and thanking every customer upon fulfilling customer's request.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic literacy skills.
• Satisfactory performance reviews.
