About the Role

The Sustainability Engineer role leads site-wide sustainability improvement efforts critical to achieving Samsung's net zero carbon, clean energy, net positive water impact, and utility conservation goals, while maintaining ISO50001 program compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Sustainability Project roadmap.
  • Support Taylor site ramp and sustainability program integration.
  • Lead site-wide Sustainability committee comprised of key stakeholders.
  • Provide executive-level updates on Sustainability roadmap progress and outlook.
  • Lead ISO50001 energy management program and compliance efforts.
  • Complete ESG reporting required by external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Samsung HQ counterparts on a weekly basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 2 years experience in sustainable engineering or clean manufacturing; 10+ years preferred.
  • Proficiency with data modeling, mass/energy balance calculations, and spreadsheet analysis (advanced Excel, Python, or R).

  • $76,000 - $174,500
