About the Role
This role involves supporting the development and maintenance of a digital platform, managing IT processes, analyzing and fixing bugs, testing new features, and integrating georeferenced data. You will also contribute to the development of AI-based tools for data analysis and workflow automation.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and development of the digital platform.
- Manage internal IT processes, including access, backups, and data structure.
- Analyze and fix bugs, test new features, and coordinate with the external development team.
- Research and prepare georeferenced data, such as land use plans and compensation areas.
- Participate in the development of AI-based tools for area data analysis and workflow automation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Environmental Informatics, Geoinformatics, Urban Planning with a digital focus, or a comparable field.
- First practical experience with Next.js/React (ideally TypeScript) and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with Docker, GeoServer, n8n, or Supabase, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Ideally, initial exposure to geodata or mapping tools (e.g., Leaflet, PostGIS, QGIS).
- Proficient with Git/GitHub and modern web technologies.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Located in or planning to relocate to Berlin.
