About the Role

Discover a career where care goes both ways! We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our Aged Care clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible.

Responsibilities

  • General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing
  • Transport to appointments and shopping
  • Meal preparation
  • Social Support or Respite for family/carers
  • Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

Requirements

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Good communication skills
  • A reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • An Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program)
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check

Salary/Compensations

  • Hourly rate from $34.50 to $37.00 +25% loading + superannuation + 99c per km
