About the Role
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Assistant to join the Generative AI in Radiography Education (GenAI-Rad) project, investigating the incorporation of artificial intelligence into radiography education. This role is funded by the College of Radiographers Industrial Partnerships Scheme (CoRIPS).
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse quantitative (survey) and qualitative (focus group discussions and interviews) research data.
- Support the preparation and dissemination of study findings.
- Work flexibly in a hybrid or fully online environment.
- Manage own time and workload effectively to deliver project objectives within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in radiography.
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a radiography-related discipline.
- Sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods and their application.
- Experience in analysing research data.
- Experience conducting research activities, including participant recruitment, consent processes, data management, and supporting research outputs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within healthcare research settings.
- Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles and their application within higher education and healthcare environments.
