About the Role

The Department of Economics is seeking to appoint three outstanding educators as Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting (Grade 6/7/8) on the Education track, with expertise in Financial and Management Accounting. The successful candidates will play a central role in our BSc Economics with Accounting. Post holders will curate and develop the accounting curriculum, support professional body accreditations, design innovative learning experiences, and undertake programme-level leadership duties commensurate with grade.

Requirements

Hold a PhD or equivalent professional qualification in Accounting or cognate field at the time of appointment.
Demonstrate capability to deliver high-quality, research-informed teaching across cohort sizes and formats at UG and PG levels.
Be able to drive pedagogical innovation, including through digital tools.
Contribute to scholarship in teaching and learning through pedagogical research, case studies, active engagement with educational communities.
Experience supporting, supervising and mentoring students.
