About the Role

The Department of Economics seeks to appoint three outstanding educators as Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Grade 6/7/8) on the Education track, with expertise in Economics, Business Economics, Management, or Finance. Each successful candidate will play an integral part in shaping the Department's educational offer — strengthening existing modules and pathways, developing innovative learning experiences, and driving pedagogical innovation through digital tools and technologies. They will support and supervise students, contribute to student engagement and outreach, and undertake administrative and leadership duties commensurate with grade.

Requirements

  • PhD in Economics or cognate field at the time of appointment.
  • Commitment and capability to deliver high-quality, research-informed and transformative teaching at both UG and PG levels and across a range of cohort sizes and formats.
  • Contribute to scholarship in teaching and learning through pedagogical research, case studies, conference presentations or active engagement with educational communities.
  • Experience supporting, supervising and mentoring students at all levels.
