About the Role

As a Senior Google Cloud Solutions Architect at NCS, you will be a key leader in driving the adoption of cutting-edge cloud solutions for our clients. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our cloud practice, leading the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of transformative cloud-based solutions that empower our clients to achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), aligning with client business needs and strategic objectives.
• Leverage deep expertise in GCP services to architect and deliver innovative solutions.
• Champion DevOps and GitOps principles, driving the adoption of automation and continuous delivery through tools like Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert guidance on cloud best practices, emerging technologies, and the value proposition of GCP.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, building consensus and driving stakeholder buy-in.

Requirements

• A proven track record in IT, with a strong background focused on architecting and implementing solutions on GCP.
• Expert-level understanding of GCP services (Compute, Serverless, Kubernetes, Cloud Run, etc.), infrastructure as code (Terraform), GitOps, DevOps principles, and cloud security best practices.
• Strong knowledge and experience of Google Cloud Architecture processes.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly, influence decision-makers, and inspire teams.
• Passion for solving challenging problems, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional results.
• Experience gathering requirements, developing proposals, and presenting client solutions.
• Valid work rights for Australia.
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background checking process, including probity and police checks.
