About the Role

The Product Manager will own designated product areas across MUFG Corporate Markets' core platforms, miraqle and Investor Centre. This role collaborates with clients, stakeholders, and global product teams to identify opportunities, define product direction, and deliver valuable solutions. Reporting to the Head of Product, ANZ, the Product Manager drives product outcomes throughout the full lifecycle, from discovery to optimization, championing customer-centricity and balancing commercial and operational needs to support strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own defined product areas or problem spaces across multiple platforms, aligned to regional priorities and global product strategy.
  • Identify, frame, and prioritize customer and business problems in partnership with clients, regional stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Act as the voice of the user and the business, ensuring product decisions reflect real needs and commercial context.
  • Translate insights into clear problem statements, solution hypotheses, and prioritized opportunities.
  • Define and own product roadmaps for assigned areas, aligned to Head of Product direction, regional business priorities, and global platform strategy.
  • Make outcome-led prioritization decisions, balancing client needs, commercial opportunities, and technical considerations.
  • Contribute to improving client and user satisfaction, product adoption, and competitiveness in new business opportunities.
  • Actively contribute to building a globally aligned, product-led operating model.
  • Lead end-to-end product discovery.
  • Partner with design and delivery to test, validate, and refine solutions before build.
  • Work closely with delivery leads, engineers, and design to translate priorities into execution.
  • Stay close to delivery while maintaining focus on outcomes rather than output.
  • Own the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and post-release optimization.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and client teams to support go-to-market activity.
  • Ensure new features and enhancements are clearly positioned, understood, and adopted.
  • Manage and synthesize inputs from regional MDs and other stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Operate as part of a high-performing product team, actively contributing to standards, practices, and ways of working.
  • Partner effectively with shared design resources and cross-functional teams.
  • Help elevate the overall capability of the product function through strong ownership, accountability, and bias for action.
  • Work closely with global product counterparts to support consistency, solution reuse, and alignment to broader product direction.
  • Ensure product decisions are well-informed, outcome-led, and aligned to commercial, client, and technical considerations.
  • Support consistency across platforms and alignment to broader product direction through cross-regional engagement.
  • Ensure product enhancements are clearly positioned, understood, and adopted to support effective implementation.
  • Maintain ownership across the product lifecycle, including post-release optimization, to ensure ongoing product effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in product management, ideally within digital, technology-enabled, or platform-based environments.
  • Proven ability to identify and solve complex customer and business problems, delivering measurable outcomes and value.
  • Strong analytical and discovery skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable product initiatives.
  • Experience engaging with enterprise clients and managing diverse stakeholder groups in complex organizational environments.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to balance customer needs, business objectives, and market opportunities when making product decisions.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to operate effectively in evolving environments, navigate ambiguity, and drive clarity of direction.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and gain alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and outcomes-focused, demonstrating ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
