About the Role

Join Sydney Airport as a conductor of Australia’s busiest airport and one of its most important infrastructure assets. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the seamless flow of activity within our International and Domestic Terminals, ensuring optimal utilization of terminal assets, including aircraft parking. Your mission is to transform the airport experience for passengers and visitors, making every moment matter while supporting fellow airport stakeholders. This is a 12-month maximum-term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities

Ensure every passenger that arrives at Sydney’s Airport has an exceptional journey through safe and efficient allocation and coordination of the Airport’s infrastructure, facilities and resources.
Negotiate with key airport stakeholders to ensure the best operational solutions are achieved when allocating resources during normal and off-schedule operations.
Ensure the Flight Information Display System is accurately maintained with timely operational information for all airport stakeholders, passengers, and visitors, especially during times of operational disruption.

Requirements

Experience in operational scheduling, developed through a minimum of five years in roles such as flight scheduling, operational planning, or operational scheduling.
Ability to thrive in complex and dynamic 24/7 operational shift environments with high pressure and competing priorities.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a continual performance and process improvement mindset.
