About the Role
Focus on an internal web application serving as the primary interface for the basketball operations team. Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to build tools that make complex data accessible and actionable. This is an excellent opportunity to share expertise while learning more about a growing sports and entertainment organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features for the internal basketball operations web application
- Work with the application database to support new features and optimize queries
- Collaborate with data science and analytics staff to design intuitive interfaces for complex data
- Contribute to application architecture and code quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3+ years of front-end or full-stack development experience
- Writes clean, well-structured code and cares about maintainability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence technical and non-technical partners
- Ability to build positive working relationships with business partners and peers at all levels within the organization
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong passion and deep curiosity about sports and entertainment
