About the Role
This role will own the design and operating standards for the AI control plane and data plane, Codex enablement, plugin strategy, Skills and GPT guidance, memory strategy, and model routing. The role will also own AI cost, token, and usage intelligence, enabling leaders to distinguish productive AI investment from avoidable spend while allowing teams to scale AI safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Owns the design and operating standards for the AI control plane and data plane, Codex enablement, plugin strategy, Skills and GPT guidance, memory strategy, model routing.
- Owns AI cost, token, and usage intelligence, including usage telemetry, cost attribution, forecasting, token budgets, threshold alerts, showback/chargeback, and model-cost optimization.
- Leads platform projects crossing multiple teams, evolving runtimes or middleware patterns for interoperability and multi-tenant scale.
- Diagnoses and resolves complex cross-service issues; enforces versioning, compatibility, and safe rollout practices.
- Drives observability standards, capacity planning, and resilience patterns across several workloads.
- Produces migration guides and adoption playbooks that raise ecosystem consistency and developer experience.
