About the Role
Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a senior-level associate with 7-9 years of experience to join their Chambers-ranked product liability team. The role involves defending clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance, with a focus on the aviation and transportation industry sectors.
Responsibilities
- Defend clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance.
- Manage cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, experts, and trial.
- Analyze complex legal issues, such as jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues.
Requirements
- 7-9 years of experience.
- Excellent writing skills, demonstrated by experience gained through a clerkship, law review, moot court, or publication.
- Ability to manage complex cases with minimal oversight.
- Superior academic credentials and references.
- Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.
- Candidates with a strong interest in the field of aviation, and/or technical background in aerospace or mechanical engineering, computer science, or life sciences are especially encouraged to apply.
