About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Defend clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance.
  • Focus on product liability and commercial matters involving the aviation and transportation industry sectors.
  • Manage all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, working with experts, and trial.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience.
  • Excellent writing skills, demonstrated by experience gained through a clerkship, law review, moot court or publication.
  • Experience with all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, working with experts, and trial.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.
  • Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues, such as contractual, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues.
  • Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interest in the field of aviation, and/or a technical background in aerospace or mechanical engineering, computer science, or life sciences is encouraged but not required.
  • Must attach cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and a writing sample.
