About the Role

We are looking for a strategic Senior Account Supervisor to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of luxury engagement. This role is for a strategic thinker who believes data should inform creativity. You’ll develop and lead integrated communications strategies connecting media and high-value audiences with destination clients, working alongside strategists, creatives, and data specialists.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction to clients and team.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and meet/exceed deliverable goals.
  • Maintain client relationships through various communication channels and events.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of 3-4 members, providing training and leadership.
  • Deliver strategic and consistent media results and measurement.
  • Support crisis communications as needed.
  • Identify stories, write press releases, media alerts, and other communications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Provide ideation for campaigns and participate in brainstorms.
  • Recommend, source, and implement strategic events and partnerships.
  • Provide influencer strategy, advice, research, and campaign ideas.
  • Identify client issues and propose solutions to supervisors.
  • Independently handle minor client issues.
  • Perform research and analysis of clients and the marketplace.
  • Oversee detailed monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry news, trends, and technology; attend events and network.

Requirements

  • Six to seven years of work experience in travel/lifestyle PR.
  • Destination PR experience and agency experience preferred.
  • Minimum one year in a supervisory capacity managing at least 2 junior team members.
  • Proficiency/fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, multi-tasking, unique work environment.
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to lead a team and work independently.
  • Experience resolving client issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding team player with a positive attitude.
  • Experience launching campaigns with non-client partners.
  • Solid portfolio of secured media coverage (national, magazine, newspaper, TV, and digital wins).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry and media, including bloggers and influencers.
  • Proven experience handling crisis is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reporting platforms (Muck Rack, Meltwater, Tagger).
