About the Role

We are seeking a Service Desk Administrator I to provide Tier 1 technical support across multiple regional offices. This role offers the opportunity to build technical skills, make an impact, and grow into a long-term IT career at a company focused on building communities and improving lives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, and remote tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common issues with Windows 11, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive), and general hardware.
  • Support end users in Citrix virtual desktop environments, diagnosing session errors and peripheral issues.
  • Image, configure, and deploy laptops using SCCM for new hires and device replacements.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process, including account provisioning/deactivation and hardware setup.
  • Handle routine account administration such as password resets, MFA setup, and permission updates in Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Provide remote and periodic on-site support for printers, plotters, and conference room technology.
  • Assist remote employees with home office setup troubleshooting, including docking stations and Citrix connectivity.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, including tracking, shipping, and receiving hardware.
  • Document all support activities in the ticketing system and provide clear troubleshooting notes when escalating issues.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours technical support.

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience with SCCM for device imaging and deployment.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, including user and group management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to explain technical fixes to non-technical users.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to take ownership of work.
