About the Role

The Service Technician plays a critical role in the success of Restaurant Technologies by installing and servicing advanced equipment in food service industry locations. This role involves installing core products for new customers, training them on usage, and providing service, repair, and routine maintenance for existing customers.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain products in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
• Meet and control operational goals and timelines (e.g., service labor per hour, first time right, 5S standards).
• Comply with internal processes, procedures, and all local and federally regulated requirements (DOT, OSHA, HACCP).
• Maintain proper parts and supply levels in company service vehicles and adhere to paperwork standards.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets expectations.
• Efficiently and professionally service customers’ needs, including training and coaching on the system.
• Utilize iPhone apps for various functions like parts management, customer notes, and clocking in/out.
• Perform night installation work as needed, with schedules varying based on customer demand and install schedules.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must pass a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test, including marijuana (THC).
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve customer issues for installation and service.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties.
• Strong customer focus and ability to respond to challenging customer situations positively.
• Must meet Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to carry 50 pounds by hand.
• Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn and reach out.
• Ability to climb up and down a ladder as high as 20 feet.

Salary/Compensations

• $30.00 per hour + Shift Differential + OT + Quarterly Bonus up to $5200/yr
