About the Role
Inside Edition is seeking a Digital Executive Producer to lead the daily editorial planning, production, and publishing for its digital and streaming operations. This role is the primary liaison between the show and the digital/streaming organization, responsible for pitching, assigning, and approving content, managing distribution, and overseeing the digital team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily editorial planning, production, and publishing for the digital streaming operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the television show and the digital/streaming operation
- Pitch, assign, and oversee the development of digital stories and content
- Review, approve, and copyedit content to ensure editorial quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Manage the distribution and publication of content across all platforms
- Lead and actively participate in daily and weekly editorial planning meetings
- Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics and use analytics to inform editorial strategy
- Oversee content rights management and ensure compliance with licensing and usage requirements
- Supervise, mentor, and provide day-to-day leadership to members of the digital team, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and supporting employee development
Requirements
- B.S. or B.A. degree, or equivalent
- Management experience creating engaging content across multiple platforms
- Ability to utilize digital analytics and apply them to set goals
- Strong insight into how to grow and maintain digital/social traffic
- Proficient in technology, social media tools, and video editing
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven track record for getting results
