About the Role
Responsible for generating business at new accounts and expanding business at existing accounts within a specified territory. Selling of technology solutions and building trusted relationships with customer decision makers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand business and technical requirements of clients to sell effective solutions that drive business value and have a clear ROI.
- Establish and maintain relationships at all client levels, including C-suite.
- Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities within existing accounts and identify and win new sales from additional business opportunities.
- Network within the industry, market, and accounts to identify new opportunities.
- Understand the customer's business model, growth objectives, and customer experience strategy to position company offerings and expertise.
- Understand competitive landscape and properly position company's differentiators to win pursuits.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen trusted client relationships to ensure an ongoing relationship with the customer.
- Develop and foster strong relationships with channel partners to drive opportunities and maintain alignment during and post sales cycles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- General awareness of business, financials, products/services, and the market.
- Developing basic knowledge of the industry and sales environment.
- Works within an assigned territory/account, product/services, or sales process with limited complexity.
- Typically assigned accounts/opportunities with limited size.
- Follows existing procedures and established sales processes to sell standard products/services.
- Relies on manager for planning and resource management.
- Has limited authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms.
- Collaborates with internal team and support functions.
- Has limited direct contact with clients; may work independently or partner with other sales professionals.
- Works within an assigned area or account base on small to moderately-sized accounts/opportunities with limited complexity.
