About the Role
The Vascular Xray Technologist Coordinator in the cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab is responsible for overseeing the daily workflow and coordination of procedures within the lab. This role ensures efficient patient flow, timely case turnovers, and effective communication among the Cath Lab team, physicians, and other hospital departments, maintaining an organized, safe, and high-functioning environment to support exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities

- Participates in sterile technique presentations and applies daily.
- Accepts special projects and accomplishes each assignment without error within the specified time as directed.
- Ensures that the Director is informed of any situation that may produce staff, patient or physician complaint prior to the complaint being received.
- Notifies Lead Tech of his/her presence within (7) minutes upon arriving in the department.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in X-ray or Cath Lab, or radiology special procedures training (or any critical care nursing unit if licensed as a Registered Nurse)
