Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience designing roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, and engineered wood products (EWP) for residential and commercial projects.
- Utilize cutting-edge software (MiTek) to prepare bids, layouts, and engineered profiles.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals to meet customer needs and offer design solutions.
- Develop skills through paid, comprehensive training in Burlington, North Carolina.
- Grow within the company with opportunities for continued learning and advancement.
- Build strong relationships with retail clients, builders, framers, and developers.
- Answer design questions and deliver top-tier service.
- Participate in a dynamic team valuing creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Background in drafting, CAD, construction, or framing is highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working with blueprints and calculating loads.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
