About the Role
As an Account Executive on the General Business Scale team, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing to renewals. You will identify, prioritize, and close new business, while also managing customer accounts and serving as a trusted advisor to help them grow and scale their businesses. Join a scaling, diverse, and tight-knit team working with Marketing, Product, and Technical executives to forge human connections between consumers and brands.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing to renewals.
- Identify, prioritize, reach out to, and close new business.
- Manage Braze customer accounts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers looking to grow and scale their businesses.
- Work with Marketing, Product, and Technical executives and their teams.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of New Business sales experience selling SaaS solutions with technically integrated products.
- Ability to generate and manage your own pipeline.
- Strategic and creative thinking for driving outcomes through persistent outreach.
- Ability to manage many moving parts.
- Consultative and human selling approach.
- Ability to tell stories and listen attentively.
- Demonstrate value-first conversations, including discovery, understanding business pain, desired outcomes, and Braze's differentiated value.
- Analytical and data-driven approach, grounded in examples, testing, and iteration.
- Desire to understand and make sense of complex systems and concepts.
- Ability to help buyers navigate large SaaS investments, mobilize global organizations, and accelerate cycles.
- Ability to identify and influence key people among many stakeholders.
- Comfortable learning new things (tech, process, people) and navigating high-change environments.
