About the Role

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will build exceptional mobile experiences for advisors and clients using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript. You will ship features impacting client onboarding, portfolio management, and advisor tools, contributing to core product features and roadmap delivery. There's an opportunity to join a Forward Deployed Engineering team, rotating to work directly with advisors on urgent challenges.

Responsibilities

Build and ship mobile features across iOS and Android using React Native and TypeScript
Create high-performance mobile interfaces for complex financial workflows
Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver complete experiences
Contribute to mobile architecture decisions and establish scalable patterns
Build reusable mobile components and improve mobile infrastructure
Mentor other engineers on mobile best practices and React Native development
Participate in code reviews and drive technical excellence
Take ownership of significant mobile features from design through deployment
Ensure mobile experiences meet quality expectations
Contribute to the development of a cutting-edge, agentic-based, software manufacturing pipeline
Rotate onto the Forward Deployed team to work directly with advisors and solve time-sensitive mobile challenges

Requirements

Full-stack Engineering experience
AWS Infra & Deployment experience
6+ years of mobile development experience, with at least 3 years in React Native
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern mobile development practices
Experience with both iOS and Android platforms
Deep understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and performance optimization
Experience building complex, data-intensive mobile applications
Product-focused mindset - excited about shipping features that solve real user problems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work autonomously and drive projects from idea to completion
Track record of delivering high-quality mobile experiences on schedule
Experience mentoring other engineers
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Excited about contributing to a fast-growing fintech company
Experience in fintech or financial services mobile applications
Native iOS or Android development background
Knowledge of mobile security best practices and compliance requirements
Previous consulting or customer-facing technical roles
Experience with financial data visualization in mobile contexts
Background in rapid prototyping or startup environments
Familiarity with offline-first mobile architectures
Experience with mobile CI/CD and testing frameworks
Interest in eventually rotating onto the Forward Deployed team
