About the Role

Join Axpo, a leading Swiss energy company, and actively shape Germany's energy transition by contributing to the expansion of solar PV projects across Europe. We are committed to biodiversity and environmentally friendly power generation, driving the growth of renewable energies in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Review grid connection possibilities and capacity availability with grid operators during the early development phase of PV projects.
• Assess grid-related risks, timelines, and costs to support site selection and project prioritization.
• Coordinate and optimize grid connection options with grid operators and external service providers.
• Advise team members on grid operator requirements and statements.
• Manage external services and costs related to solar plant grid connections.
• Secure grid connection reservations and technical conditions during the development phase, ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for grid connection matters with development, engineering, and external consultants.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or renewable energies.
• Specialization in grid connection with a solid understanding of German grid operators' procedures, guidelines, and application portals.
• Ability to interpret grid studies, connection offers, and technical conditions at medium and high voltage levels (TAB).
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset, and strong teamwork skills.
• Very good German and English language skills.
