About the Role
The Class A CDL driver will transport mobile imaging equipment to correctional facilities across New York State. This role is crucial for delivering quality medical imaging care and service.
Responsibilities
- Transports the mobile unit to customer locations.
- Maintains the truck and trailer, including fire extinguishers, patient lift, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, and scheduling/documenting preventive maintenance.
- Inspects the truck before and after each trip and submits a report indicating truck conditions.
- Maintains driver logs according to DOT regulations.
- May be required to assist the technologist with various duties, including transporting patients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One year recent truck driving experience.
- Must be 23+ years of age.
- Must have FMCSA Clearinghouse.
- Clean MVR with no more than two moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No major violations in the last 5 years (reckless driving, DUI, etc.).
- No felonies in the last 5 years.
- No major preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
- Must pass DOT Background Check including drug screen.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
