About the Role
The Virtual Event Coordinator supports the execution of ACFE's virtual and hybrid events and conferences. This role assists with event platform preparation, speaker and presentation coordination, live event production, attendee communications, and post-event on-demand content, helping deliver high-quality training and educational experiences to our members.
Responsibilities
- Supports the planning and execution of ACFE virtual and hybrid events under the direction of the Virtual Event Manager.
- Prepares, reviews, and tests the virtual event platform to ensure a smooth live experience.
- Coordinates with internal teams and external partners to gather presentation materials and manage speaker communications.
- Produces a variety of virtual and hybrid events, ensuring content delivery aligns with ACFE standards.
- Prepares event recordings and materials for on‑demand access.
- Communicates and evaluates virtual and hybrid post-event feedback and statistics to determine event success.
- Responds to inquiries received through the Events Department inbox in a timely and professional manner.
- Provides support to other departments through established communication channels to ensure consistency across ACFE initiatives.
- Performs other duties as requested or required.
Requirements
- 1-3 years previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Four years of High School resulting in a diploma or GED required.
- Ability to travel 1-2 times per year.
- Proven skills in organizing work, attending to detail, managing time effectively, and handling multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Skilled in collaborating with internal and external resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
