About the Role
The AVP, Research Operations is responsible for the operational infrastructure that enables the Research Team to produce and distribute high-quality content efficiently and consistently. This role owns the team's publication processes, operational workflows, and project management, serving as the primary liaison with Compliance, Legal, and other internal partners.
Responsibilities
- Own the operational infrastructure supporting the Research Team, including publication workflows, calendars, documentation, and operating procedures.
- Manage the end-to-end publication process for research content, coordinating with Compliance and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide operational quality control across the publication process, identifying issues before deliverables move to the next stage.
- Maintain research resources, templates, trackers, and reference materials, ensuring information remains accurate and current.
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between the Research Team and partner teams across the firm.
- Manage the Research Team's website presence and internal content resources.
- Track research production, readership, and team metrics, producing recurring reporting and supporting business objectives.
- Lead operational projects and identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and support the team's continued growth.
- Establish and refine processes that improve consistency, scalability, and execution across the Research Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of operations, project management, or business management experience, preferably within financial services or another regulated industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional workflows involving multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy, consistency, and sound operational judgment across complex, deadline-driven work.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience improving processes and implementing operational best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with project management, collaboration, and content management tools such as Asana, Adobe Acrobat, or similar platforms.
