About the Role

The Rental Management Trainee program is an 18-24 month training initiative designed to provide comprehensive training in Rental Management, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, and Sales/Marketing. The incumbent will support location and regional management with operational and administrative tasks in a fast-paced business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle sales and process inbound and outbound calls.
  • Maintain accurate data in the company's marketing database.
  • Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads.
  • Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle preventative maintenance and cleanliness standards.
  • Meet Ryder market share goals by executing sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company, local, state, federal, and regulatory agencies.
  • Reconcile customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain relationships and grow the customer base.
  • Perform On-Call Representative duties as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • One or more years of customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.
  • Intermediate computer literacy required.
  • Must have valid legal authorization to work in Canada.
