About the Role

As an early team member, you will play a significant role in shaping our culture, process, and the future of Makeship. You will collaborate daily, learn about the content creation space, and witness your work impact the company and community. Responsibilities

  • Analyze campaign operations end-to-end, identifying inefficiencies and risks, and building a holistic view of business health.
  • Lead the Business Operations team, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution of every campaign while evolving internal workflows and systems.
  • Manage the merch creation process from manufacturing through fulfillment, balancing cost, quality, and timeliness.
  • Lead the Customer Support team, owning the quality, responsiveness, and tooling for fan interactions.
  • Equip teams across the organization with regular insights on support trends, sentiment, research findings, and internal metrics.
  • Establish tools and processes that facilitate easy access to creators and fans for direct learning.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, business operations, or a related leadership role, ideally within a high-growth D2C, e-commerce, or marketplace business.
  • Proven track record of designing and scaling processes and teams to match a rapidly growing business.
  • Strong analytical instincts to identify hidden costs or inefficiencies in processes.
  • Experience partnering with manufacturing or supply chain partners to balance cost, quality, and speed.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills to influence and coordinate across various teams and external partners.
