About the Role

This position assists the Business Manager with daily operational functions, mentors Leasing Associates, and drives property revenue by motivating the team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee leasing and lease apartments while selling property products and services.
  • Conduct site tours, including transporting prospects and showcasing property amenities, models, and available units.
  • Create weekly hot sheets detailing top priority units, leasing and occupancy goals, and approved specials.
  • Inspect vacant apartments to ensure they are serviced and ready for tours or move-ins.
  • Prepare weekly leasing reports summarizing traffic, move-out, and move-in sources.
  • Oversee and input data for property operations and leasing.
  • Implement and track outreach marketing results, updating the Manager on leasing outcomes.
  • Participate in weekly pricing calls with the General Manager.
  • Oversee and follow the resident renewal program monthly.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
  • Attend company training classes and meetings as required.
  • Assist with leasing commissions for payout.
  • Assist with invoice processing and file audit preparation.
  • Support leasing staff with file approval and completion.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing at least 2 employees.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, Rent Cafe, and On-Site credit software.
  • Conventional property experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective, productive, and positive interactions with associates.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Understanding of current landlord/tenant requirements and general legal responsibilities of the property.
  • Ability to work effectively with owners, managers, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Required to work weekends.
