About the Role
D&W is seeking an Area Production Manager for its Corporate location in Auburn, NY, offering investment in employee growth and future.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned workforce to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective product production.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and ensure proper training.
- Continuously work with assigned departments to reduce requested warranty rates.
- Interface with branch personnel to verify branch requirements are met.
- Initiate plans and processes to minimize remanufacturing costs.
- Drive a continuous focus on safety, environmental, and OSHA requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 15 years of demonstrated equivalent experience, including 3 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of supervisory experience with strong leadership skills.
- Experience in process and quality improvement.
- Experience in fabrication and machining disciplines preferred.
- Strong planning abilities and analytical and problem-solving skills.
