About the Role

SSA has partnered with cultural attractions for over 50 years to design the hospitality experience journey. Responsibilities

  • Fulfill guest needs quickly and efficiently.
  • Inform retail leadership about low item quantities or special requests, and work with the warehouse team to pull and fill items.
  • Relay relevant customer comments directly to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Perform SSA EXTRA Guest Service steps to ensure a memorable experience.
  • Check and stock supplies in counter areas, floor displays, floor stands, and cabinets neatly, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
  • Clean tables, chairs, and equipment as needed.
  • Keep counter and floor in work or service areas clean and free of debris.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer as assigned.
  • Merchandise products to maximize sales.
  • Increase sales through promotional items or suggestive selling.
  • Support unit sustainability and conservation efforts by displaying knowledge and teaching staff.
  • Support SSA/Unit in driving community efforts through hiring, engagement activities, and giving back.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment while working independently.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer knowledge including POS systems and Excel.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move/handle boxes (10-35lbs), including lifting.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Promote an inclusive and supportive approach within the Brand team and network.
  • Focus on removing barriers and empowering growth and opportunity for team members.
  • Lead by example through sustainability/conservation efforts.
  • Engage with SSA/Unit in driving community effort through engagement activities and focus on opportunities of giving back.
