About the Role
Health Center Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide top-notch dental services to Union members, removing financial barriers to quality medical care. Responsibilities
- Escorts patients into dental treatment rooms and prepares them for the dentist.
- Prepares instruments and additional supplies for dental care and treatment.
- Assists the dentist by handling instruments and other supplies, suctioning, and irrigating.
- Reassures patients and assists with explanations and education.
- Dismisses patients when dental care and treatment are completed.
- Cleans the patient area, removing instruments and supplies, and ensuring the room is ready for the next patient.
- Discards disposable supplies and instruments, sterilizes non-disposable instruments, and performs autoclave testing.
- Participates in quality assurance/risk management committee meetings, as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dental office or a health care setting.

- Certificate in Dental Assisting from an accredited school required
