About the Role

Maintain ongoing participation in the daily operation of the program through the provision of various clinical and therapeutic activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing established program policies, mission, and procedures related to client services.
  • Provide treatment services to assigned clients.
  • Manage quality improvements and utilization review for SJMC/OTP.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and track Quality Improvement activity for SJMC/OTP.
  • Prepare for program recertification, surveys, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies by assisting in preparation for and participation in audits and surveys (e.g., OASAS, JCAHO, etc.).
  • Ensure excellence in clinical practice and patient care delivery by monitoring the implementation of the department’s QI Plan.
  • Ensure appropriate utilization of opioid treatment resources by monitoring and reviewing admissions and discharges of all OTP clients.
  • Provide Utilization Review and Quality Improvement Training to staff.
  • Perform unannounced random chart reviews of all OTP to ensure quality and compliance with state, federal, and hospital regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information as required by law.
  • Work with patients appropriate to the agency setting regarding age and special populations.
  • Maintain knowledge of OASAS regulations and healthcare developments.
  • Maintain all applicable certificates and licensure.
  • Maintain current knowledge of reimbursement methods (managed care, Medicaid, commercial insurance).
  • Work as a team player to enhance the program.
  • Represent the agency with an ethical, fair, and positive attitude.
  • Assist in supervising clinical staff as assigned.
  • Facilitate and lead peer supervision.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • CASAC Required
  • Preferred LMSW/LCSW/LMHC
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience in Alcoholism or Substance Abuse Treatment.
  • Knowledge with Opioid Treatment/MMTP modalities and/or 822 clinic modalities.

  • Day Shift 6AM-2PM

Salary/Compensations

  • $68K-$78K
