About the Role

Ingredients Plus is seeking Fleet Technicians to support safe, reliable, and efficient fleet operations through quality maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs. Technicians will work on a diverse mix of equipment and systems, including Kenworth and Mack tractors, diesel engines, and various trailer equipment. We are hiring across multiple technician levels (I, II, III) and welcome applicants with a range of fleet maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance, inspections, routine repairs, and basic diagnostics on tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment with guidance as needed.
Completes PM services, tire work, basic brake repairs, lighting and electrical repairs, and component replacement.
Assists with diagnostics and repairs.
Independently performs diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on air brake, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, engine, and trailer systems.
Troubleshoots common truck and trailer issues.
Performs state inspections.
Completes repairs with limited supervision.
Responds to road service calls.
Serves as a senior technician responsible for advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, complex troubleshooting, and technical support within the shop.
Performs engine performance diagnostics, aftertreatment and electrical system troubleshooting, and major component replacement.
Provides guidance on complex repairs.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
1-year minimum experience in diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, heavy equipment, agricultural, automotive, or related mechanical repair environments
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Ability to work independently and safely in a team-oriented environment
Valid New York State Driver License required
CDL-A License preferred
