About the Role

Envista Forensics provides forensic consulting services using scientific principles to investigate failures impacting service, people, and business production. We analyze and determine the root causes of incidents, helping clients make informed decisions and resolve complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic investigations related to mechanical incidents and failures.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and experts to determine origin and root causes of accidents, equipment malfunctions, product defects, and other mechanical failure related issues.
• Provide forensic engineering consulting services in areas such as mechanical equipment failure analysis, damage assessment, reinstatement options, timelines and costs, and fire origin and cause investigations.
• Mitigate exposure to risk and loss by working with clients, legal counsel, and technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited University.
• 5+ years practical experience in industry, preferably industrial, commercial or manufacturing.
• Direct diagnostic and problem-solving experience with mechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical equipment inspections.
• Past forensic investigation/engineering experience strongly preferred.
