About the Role
This employer-paid training program prepares trainees with the knowledge and skills to work as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). The training encompasses classroom, lab, and clinical experience focused on caring for the geriatric population. Upon successful completion and certification, trainees will transition to a Certified Nursing Assistant role.
Responsibilities
- Attend training sessions from September 14th to October 30th, Monday through Friday, 8am-2:30pm.
- Prepare for and pass the New York State Prometric Nursing Assistant Examination.
- Transition to the role of a Certified Nursing Assistant upon achieving certification.
Requirements
- Must be able to attend training sessions September 14th-October 30th, Monday through Friday, 8am-2:30pm.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED (High School Equivalency).
