About the Role
Indera (formerly ARISE/EFR) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide Respite services in the North Syracuse area. The role involves engaging with an individual in various activities such as visiting the YMCA, Zoo, Get Air, and the MOST, as well as participating in outdoor activities and Karate and cooking classes.
Responsibilities
- Provide Respite services.
- Engage in activities with the individual including visiting the YMCA, Zoo, Get Air and the MOST.
- Participate in outdoor activities and Karate and cooking classes.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
- Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire.
