About the Role

Infrastructure Engineers build the foundation for Ivo’s entire platform, ensuring isolated customer environments with containers, databases, and VPCs remain operational despite potential cloud or LLM provider incidents and regional outages, while meeting customer SLAs. This role involves building the system that keeps the company running and pushing the frontiers of AI in legal tech.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Docker-based environments across dev/staging/prod
• Own and improve our deployment and release pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Manage infrastructure using Pulumi (Infrastructure as Code)
• Support backend services (APIs, workers, jobs) and frontend apps (builds, deployments, performance issues)
• Debug issues across the stack: infra → backend → frontend
• Improve developer experience: faster builds, cleaner environments
• Help define and improve CI/CD workflows
• Automate repetitive processes wherever possible

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience
• Strong expertise in DevOps / infrastructure with some full-stack exposure
• Hands-on experience with Pulumi (or similar IaC tools like Terraform), Docker / containerization, GitHub + CI/CD pipelines
• Good debugging skills: debugging ambiguous issues, tracing problems across systems
• Excited about LLMs
• Experience working in a startup environment is preferred but not required
• Excited about the adventure of building a company
