About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, Workforce Strategy and Transformation, you will help shape and advance future-focused workforce initiatives that support CIBC’s long-term priorities. You will lead research, analysis, and workstream delivery for workforce transformation initiatives, translating insights into clear recommendations and practical roadmaps for senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Lead research, analysis, and workstream delivery for workforce transformation initiatives.
- Translate internal and external insights into clear recommendations, executive-ready materials, and practical roadmaps.
- Support senior leader decision-making and help move priority initiatives forward.
- Conduct internal and external research to identify emerging workforce trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Translate insights into practical recommendations supporting talent priorities, future ways of working, and workforce transformation.
- Lead moderately complex workstreams with independence, from problem definition through analysis, recommendations, roadmap progress updates, and execution support.
- Provide specialized advice on workforce transformation, HR transformation, talent strategy, organization effectiveness, and operating model opportunities.
- Develop options, business cases, and recommendations to help stakeholders understand trade-offs and make informed decisions.
- Use people data, business insights, and market research to identify opportunities, assess impact, and measure progress.
- Support the development of frameworks, roadmaps, implementation plans, and change tactics.
- Anticipate risks, surface issues, and recommend practical solutions to support adoption and execution.
- Build trusted relationships with internal and external partners, gather input, validate solutions, and support alignment across teams.
- Develop clear, compelling presentations, whitepapers, briefing materials, and recommendations for senior leaders and executive forums.
- Translate complex concepts into concise narratives that build understanding, alignment, and action.
Requirements
- Degree/diploma in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Strategy, or a related field.
- Experience with HR concepts, with a focus on HR transformation, workforce transformation, talent strategy, analytics, change management, and/or human capital consulting.
- Demonstrate strong human capital knowledge and an understanding of how HR enables business priorities, talent outcomes, and future ways of working.
- Act like an owner, taking accountability for work, bringing structure to ambiguous problems, and delivering high-quality outcomes with sound judgment and follow-through.
- Be agile, understanding complex issues and evolving business needs, and adapting approach as priorities, information, or stakeholder needs change.
